Lead Educator

Responsibilities

• Act as the Educational Leader to uplift educational practices off the floor
• Guide other educators in curriculum planning and reflection
• Mentor colleagues in the implementation of best practices
• Develop strategies to improve the educational program within the service
• Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) responsibilities
• Maintain an outstanding learning environment for children

Requirements

• ACECQA approved Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services
• Proven Educator experience within an early childhood service (0-5 years)
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Current Working with Children Check
• Valid First Aid certificate
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
