Lead Due Diligence Consultant

Responsibilities

• Lead complex due diligence programs and investigative processes to identify financial crimes risks
• Conduct deep-dive research on high-risk customers using OSINT, commercial databases, and regulatory lists
• Perform end-to-end transaction analysis for financial intermediaries, including banks, fintechs, and brokers
• Evaluate AML/KYC risk indicators such as geographic risk, entity type, and product risk
• Analyze large datasets in Microsoft Excel to identify patterns in transactional values, volumes, and relational data
• Prepare high-quality investigative narratives and maintain clear audit trails for regulatory and audit standards
• Collaborate with AML Investigations, Sanctions, and Compliance Advisory teams to mitigate risks

Requirements

• 5+ years of Due Diligence experience
• 13+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience
• Strong understanding of AML frameworks and global regulatory expectations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and large dataset analysis
• Strong research capabilities using OSINT and corporate registries
• Experience with transaction monitoring systems, case management tools, and KYC platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• Industry certifications such as CAMS
• Experience reviewing SWIFT/MT messages, wire transfers, and correspondent banking flows
• Knowledge of banking products including wires, ACH, and check products
