Lead Digital Product Designer

Responsibilities

• Explore, design, and ship new digital experiences powered by AI
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AI/ML, hardware, software, and web engineers
• Invent and prototype innovative methods of human-computer interaction
• Refine and improve existing user experiences through continuous iteration
• Contribute directly to the evolution of future products within the HP ecosystem

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience designing, prototyping, and shipping digital products
• Proficiency in digital product design tools such as Figma or Sketch
• Hands-on experience prototyping with tools like Origami, ProtoPie, or Play
• Strong foundation in user-centered design principles, visual design, and typography
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills
• Ability to work comfortably with ambiguity and explore undefined spaces

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating high-fidelity prototypes using SwiftUI or web technologies (WebGL, React, JavaScript)
• Hands-on experimentation with AI technologies such as LLMs, Stable Diffusion, or Midjourney
• Experience designing conversational or agentic software experiences
• Advanced understanding of motion graphics, animation principles, and shader design
• Experience building design systems, reusable components, and typographic systems
