Lead DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness
• Work with SRE to develop monitoring and alerting systems
• Collaborate with Security to implement and enforce security best practices
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide system support

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in a DevOps role, with 2 years in a leadership position
• Expert knowledge of cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, A/ELB, EBS, VPC, Route53)
• Expert level knowledge of Linux and strong scripting skills
• Extensive experience with Infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or SaltStack
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog or CloudWatch
