About the Company

Neros is a defense technology company rebuilding America’s drone industrial base. We design and manufacture high-performance unmanned systems that are tested in combat, iterated at startup speed, and built at massive scale.

Responsibilities

  • Validate Neros products across many forms of testing, including static and dynamic structural, shock and vibe, thermal, liquid/particle ingress, and environmental/corrosion
  • Operate Neros test equipment such as thermal chambers, tensile testers, vibe tables, and data acquisition setups
  • Work with engineers to design and execute test plans ranging from early stage risk-reduction to full-product qualification
  • Design test rigs and fixtures, including creating CAD models and drawings for fabrication
  • Process data to interpret results and clearly document and present findings to the team
  • Participate in and lead root cause analysis on test items and product field failures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience running multidisciplinary testing in a fast-paced engineering environment
  • Strong engineering fundamentals and first principles thinking
  • Hands-on fabrication and assembly skills
  • Experience with CAD software such as Solidworks or NX
  • Familiarity with standard test equipment including thermocouples, strain gauges, load cells, and IMUs/accelerometers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience operating vibe tables, thermal chambers, tensile testers, or battery testers
  • Understanding of practical electrical fundamentals and experience integrating actuators and sensors
  • Experience testing batteries
  • Python or Matlab skills for automation and data processing
  • Experience qualifying products to MIL-STD-810H or similar standards
  • Experience creating high-quality engineering drawings
  • Experience with Teamcenter
