Lead Developer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of scalable, resilient, and maintainable cloud-based system architectures.
• Write, review, and own production-quality code as an active, hands-on contributor.
• Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
• Advocate for modern engineering practices including CI/CD, IaC, TDD, and BDD.
• Champion AI-first software delivery approaches to enhance development efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Drive architectural decisions and manage technical debt to ensure long-term system health.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Deep expertise in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Kotlin, or Python.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Proficiency in XP practices including TDD, pair programming, and refactoring.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and microservices.
• Must have the right to work and live in India and be able to work from the Bengaluru office at least 3 days per week.
