Lead Developer - Automation CoE

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and deployment of custom Python automation solutions within the Automation Centre of Excellence
• Own the delivery of tactical process transformation automation solutions according to the book of work
• Develop, test, and deploy solutions using the approved technology stack including Python and Azure
• Conduct security vulnerability tests, integration tests, and performance testing using tools like Sonar Cloud
• Manage version control through Repos to promote code maintenance and re-usability
• Adhere to existing policy guidelines regarding software development, deployment, and change management

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or an equivalent field
• 4-7 years of experience in autonomous build development (Python Executables) and deployment of custom software
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript ES6
• Strong experience with Python libraries, specifically NumPy and Pandas
• Knowledge of web frameworks such as Flask and Django
• Experience with databases including MySQL and Azure SQL Server
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services, including Azure Pipelines, CI/CD, Functions, and App Service
• Understanding of networking protocols such as SSH, TCP/IP, FTP/SFTP, and HTTP/HTTPS
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with security scanning tools like Sonar Cloud or SonarQube
• Understanding of Agile software development methodologies
• Experience engaging and influencing stakeholders across multiple geographies and cultures
