Lead Designer

Responsibilities

• Design and build new modes of working with computers using groundbreaking LLM-powered projects
• Lead projects end-to-end, taking ideas from initial conception to final execution independently
• Collaborate closely with engineers and external partners to fuel company growth
• Contribute to high-level product decisions, direction, and prioritization
• Ship high-quality UI elements, such as human-in-the-loop designs and real-time collaboration tools

Requirements

• Exceptional design judgment and taste
• Strong product sensibilities and a product-minded approach to problem-solving
• Proven experience leading design projects from start to finish
• Based in New York City (we have a strong bias for in-person collaboration)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a client-facing capacity
• Ability to work closely with engineering teams in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Curiosity regarding AI tools and their ability to speed up design-to-code cycles
• Experience designing for complex professional workflows or high-intelligence user bases
