Lead Designer, Apparel Graphics

Responsibilities

• Lead the graphic vision for the Asia Pacific & Latin American (APLA) consumer through art, typography, and storytelling.
• Develop trend-relevant seasonal creative direction at both the product and collection levels.
• Drive graphic excellence through composition, illustration, and typography in alignment with Nike Design Ethos.
• Partner with APLA Design and Product teams to translate consumer and marketplace insights into product narratives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Global Design, Footwear Development, and Product Managers.
• Mentor designers on the team and manage product details, including sample reviews and troubleshooting achievability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of graphic design experience in an agency or in-house setting.
• Proven expertise in graphic design, illustration, and typography.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (CC).
• Solid knowledge of apparel product creation and the ability to build accurate tech packs.
• Strong visual and verbal communication skills for presenting design intent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced, "closer-to-market" or incubator environment.
• Deep understanding of current and emerging design trends and global visual culture.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt quickly to marketplace shifts.
