Lead Dental Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support in all day-to-day activities within the practice and surgeries
• Oversee day-to-day activities of practice surgeries to ensure excellent patient care
• Manage clinical and cross-contamination compliance and Health & Safety measures
• Create a welcoming environment for patients to set them at ease
• Ensure consistent delivery of the patient journey to a high standard
• Proactively act upon patient feedback for service improvement
• Support the Practice Manager with external lab work management
• Manage and replenish stock efficiently
• Undertake reception duties when required
• Act within General Dental Council (GDC) guidance standards
• Support Associates with professional chairside service
• Provide training and support to colleagues

Requirements

• GDC registration
• Experience working in Private or NHS practices
• People management experience (preferable)
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (advantageous)
