Lead Dental Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support in all day-to-day activities within the practice and surgeries
• Ensure the delivery of excellent patient care while complying with clinical and health & safety guidance
• Create a welcoming environment for patients to set them at ease
• Maintain accurate patient records using internal systems (Software of Excellence)
• Set up surgeries appropriately to maximize efficiency and utilization
• Anticipate clinician and patient requirements, ensuring necessary lab work and equipment are in place
• Monitor surgery stocks to maintain appropriate levels
• Undertake reception duties including answering telephones, making appointments, and collecting charges

Requirements

• GDC registration
• Experience working in Private or NHS practices
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• High level of patient care commitment
• Enthusiastic attitude with an appetite to learn
