Lead Delivery Driver

Responsibilities

• Lead team during pre-shift meetings and cover company topics like safety
• Lead the load out process to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Onboard and train new drivers to company standards
• Conduct quarterly driver observations to ensure standards are met
• Deliver customer orders directly to doorsteps and verify via routing app
• Safely navigate varying weather conditions and hazards
• Use proper lifting form to load and unload up to 150 boxes per shift (up to 50lbs each)
• Support the Packaging Return Program by picking up customer recycling
• Support overall delivery volume by helping other drivers or working overtime

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid state-issued driver's license for at least 2 years
• Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record
• 2 years of previous delivery driving experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively
• Ability to sit, stand, squat, kneel, and bend repetitively
• Comfortable operating a delivery van in all weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Experience working in a food-based environment
