About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering and technical expertise to identify, analyze, and resolve complex problems within the Distributed Control Systems (DCS) area.
- Manage complex projects by planning, coordinating, and conducting engineering studies with full technical responsibility.
- Prepare accurate technical reports, documentation, calculations, and sketches to recommend process enhancements and standards.
- Ensure business goals are met through effective planning, scheduling, and monitoring of work activities.
- Apply broad knowledge of principles and procedures to recommend enhancements to business processes and develop industry standards.
- Develop positive working relationships to coordinate activities and disseminate technical knowledge across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration is required.
- Minimum of 8 years of related engineering work experience.
- Ability to work onsite at company facilities.
- Willingness to travel between 15-25%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering (may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor of Science degree).
