Lead Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI-powered solutions to address complex business challenges.
• Lead projects involving NLP, machine learning, deep learning, and data analysis to improve products.
• Create intelligent agents and advanced agentic capabilities to enhance user interaction and workflows.
• Utilize prompt engineering techniques to refine, optimize, and evaluate AI model responses.
• Integrate systems with Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to handle large-scale AI computations.
• Collaborate with research, engineering, and product teams to translate AI advancements into production-ready capabilities.
• Mentor junior engineers and team members in AI/ML methodologies and implementation.
• Uphold ethical AI principles by embedding fairness, transparency, and accountability in the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
• 9+ years of experience in data science, AI/ML, or statistical model development.
• 5+ years of experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
• 3+ years of experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), prompt engineering, and intelligent agent architectures.
• 3+ years of experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras).
• 2+ years of experience leading technical projects or mentoring team members.
• 1+ years of experience working with Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers or similar distributed computing systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
• Demonstrated understanding of ethical AI principles and responsible model development.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment alongside product managers and software developers.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate technical metrics to non-technical audiences.
