Lead Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Lead data mining initiatives using modern tools and programming languages to identify trends and patterns.
• Manage relationships with business partners to foster data-driven innovation and provide domain expertise for cross-organizational projects.
• Lead project teams consisting of data science, IT, and engineering professionals, ensuring effective communication of insights and model compliance.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure models are scalable and seamlessly integrated into delivered solutions.
• Deliver high-complexity predictive and prescriptive models to drive business actions and define success measures.
• Develop monitoring metrics to track real-world model performance and recommend future directions for digital solutions.
• Create effective visualizations to communicate business value and innovation potential to stakeholders.
• Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to less experienced staff members.

Requirements

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• 8-10 years of professional work experience in data analytics, statistical modeling, machine learning, or artificial intelligence.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark.
• Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies and Deep Learning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Proficiency in R and Tableau.
• Expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and advanced algorithms.
