Responsibilities

• Set technical direction for complex, business-critical projects while balancing speed, innovation, and reliability
• Design and implement reliable, production-grade technical solutions with comprehensive documentation
• Define project problems, develop roadmaps, and oversee end-to-end delivery across multi-disciplinary workstreams
• Lead technical scoping and feasibility studies for high-value sales opportunities
• Manage relationships with demanding clients to align technical solutions with commercial goals
• Drive adoption of best practices and robust technical processes across the Data Science craft
• Mentor and develop data scientists and team members to contribute to organizational excellence

Requirements

• Depth of expertise in at least one machine learning domain
• Strong technical breadth across the entire data science landscape
• Proven experience in technical leadership and mentoring teams
• Expertise in project management and dividing complex problems into actionable workstreams
• Ability to manage high-risk tasks and deliver outcomes under commercial pressure
• Strong customer leadership skills to act as a trusted technical advisor
• Experience collaborating with Engineering, Commercial, and Infrastructure teams
• Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC) may be required
