Lead Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on analysis on large volumes of customer first-party and third-party data
• Lead, manage, mentor, and train a team of 2-5 Data Scientists
• Own end-to-end implementations of Marketing machine learning models such as Customer Segmentation, Propensity models, and CLTV
• Utilize large scale distributed databases and computing systems like Hadoop or Databricks

Requirements

• 8-10 years of total experience with at least 6+ years in core data science and machine learning
• Proven experience managing a team of Data Scientists
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
• Hands-on experience with machine learning and statistical techniques (Logistic regression, Decision trees, Random Forest, K-means clustering, etc.)
• B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent education

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Marketing machine learning models
• Deep experience in machine learning with Spark and MLlib
• Proficiency in PySpark
