About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the strategic vision and roadmap for data products across multiple business domains.
  • Translate high-level business problems into technically grounded requirements, including data contracts, semantic layer definitions, and dbt model expectations.
  • Partner with Data Product Engineers and Architects to align business intent with technical execution in Snowflake and AWS environments.
  • Collaborate with AI/ML and data science teams to define requirements for feature engineering pipelines and training data preparation.
  • Define and enforce data governance standards, metadata management, and data observability frameworks.
  • Monitor product performance using KPIs and success metrics to guide continuous iteration.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in Product Management, data product ownership, or Business Analysis with a focus on data warehousing or BI.
  • Working knowledge of Snowflake, including schema design and query optimization.
  • Familiarity with dbt (Data Build Tool) for SQL-based transformation workflows.
  • Understanding of AWS data services such as Lambda, Kinesis, S3, and Glue.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or SQL to review technical artifacts and write precise acceptance criteria.
  • Practical understanding of Kimball dimensional modeling and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) concepts.
  • Exposure to AI/ML workflows, including feature engineering and model readiness.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, or Information Systems).
