Lead Data Architecture Engineer (Cloud)

Responsibilities

• Design the architecture for Silver and Gold layers, including partitioning, versioning, and large-scale data storage strategies.
• Build and maintain data transformation pipelines using AWS Glue and PySpark.
• Orchestrate data workflows using AWS Step Functions to ensure reliability and traceability.
• Implement Data DevOps practices, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Define and enforce standards for data quality, data lineage, and metadata management.
• Provide technical leadership to the team and foster knowledge sharing and mentoring.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Python.
• Strong expertise in data architecture design.
• Proven experience in technical leadership roles.
• Advanced knowledge of Spark.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS Glue and AWS Step Functions.
• Proficiency with Terraform or AWS SDK for Infrastructure as Code.
• Understanding of Medallion Architecture and Data Lake design.
