Lead, Data Architect

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise data architecture vision, roadmap, and standards
• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models across domains
• Establish data integration, storage, and access patterns including data lakes, warehouses, and lakehouses
• Lead and own Master Data Management (MDM) using the Stibo Systems Platform
• Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, policies, and standards
• Lead the newly established Data Management Office (DMO)
• Architect modern cloud-first data platforms using Azure, AWS, or Databricks
• Lead the design of batch and real-time data pipelines (ETL/ELT, streaming)
• Design enterprise integration patterns such as APIs and event-driven architectures
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers, modelers, and architects
• Enable self-service analytics, BI, and support AI/ML initiatives through well-architected pipelines

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 12+ years of experience in data architecture, engineering, or related roles
• 5+ years of experience designing enterprise-scale data solutions
• Deep expertise in data modeling (dimensional, normalized, Data Vault)
• Proficiency with data warehousing and lakehouse architectures
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Azure Data Factory or Informatica
• Expertise in Master Data Management (MDM)
• Strong strategic thinking, roadmap development, and stakeholder management skills
