Lead Data Architect

Responsibilities

• Design and govern enterprise-wide data solutions aligned with business strategy and technology roadmaps
• Lead the architecture of modern data platforms, data lakes, and analytics solutions using Azure technologies
• Define and promote architecture standards, reusable patterns, and governance frameworks across the Data Agile Release Train (DART)
• Partner with business, product, and engineering teams to deliver scalable and secure data solutions
• Drive data governance capabilities including data quality, lineage, metadata management, and lifecycle management
• Provide architectural leadership across Agile and Waterfall delivery initiatives
• Lead and mentor a team of data architects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in Data or Solution Architecture within complex environments
• Proven track record of delivering Data Warehouse, Big Data, BI, and Analytics solutions
• Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Cosmos DB, and Azure Data Lake
• Deep knowledge of Data Modelling, Governance, Quality, Lineage, and Data Security
• Experience defining architecture standards and cloud transformation strategies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the airline, aviation, travel, or transportation industry
• Knowledge of domains such as PNR, Ticketing, Loyalty, Revenue Management, or Operations
• Exposure to AI, Machine Learning, and Advanced Analytics platforms
• Architecture certification such as TOGAF, SAFe Architect, ArchiMate, or Open CA
