Lead Data Architect, Consumer Card Technology

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality data architecture solutions for software applications using modern cloud-based technologies.
• Engage technical teams and business stakeholders to propose data architecture approaches that meet current and future needs.
• Leverage enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate data architecture analysis, decisioning, and documentation.
• Define the data architecture target state for products and drive the achievement of the overall strategy.
• Execute creative data architecture designs, development, and technical troubleshooting to solve complex problems.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews and debugging.
• Identify opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability.
• Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to drive the adoption of leading-edge technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of applied data architecture experience.
• Formal training or certification in data architecture concepts.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Demonstrated experience using AI capabilities within professional workflows to support architecture tasks.
• Proficiency in SDLC execution, including automation and continuous delivery practices.
• Practical experience with cloud-native technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of architecture and one or more programming languages.
