About the role

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data solutions
  • Perform data profiling, source-to-target mapping, and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of data governance frameworks and standards
  • Design and develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to support data integration initiatives
  • Document data flows, data lineage, and system integrations across upstream and downstream systems
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and maintain data definitions, business rules, and metadata
  • Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide technical support for production systems
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including IT, QA, and business stakeholders

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in SQL and relational database management systems (RDBMS)
  • 3+ years of experience with data warehouse concepts and data modeling practices
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • 2+ years of experience in ETL processes and data integration tools
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas and pivot tables

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data governance activities and exposure to Collibra
  • Experience with Reference Data Management tools (e.g., EDM or DRM)
  • Knowledge of Financial or Asset Management domains
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Understanding of data architecture concepts including dimensional modeling and entity-relationship diagrams
