About the role
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data solutions
- Perform data profiling, source-to-target mapping, and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Support the implementation and maintenance of data governance frameworks and standards
- Design and develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to support data integration initiatives
- Document data flows, data lineage, and system integrations across upstream and downstream systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and maintain data definitions, business rules, and metadata
- Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide technical support for production systems
- Partner with cross-functional teams including IT, QA, and business stakeholders
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in SQL and relational database management systems (RDBMS)
- 3+ years of experience with data warehouse concepts and data modeling practices
- 2+ years of experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- 2+ years of experience in ETL processes and data integration tools
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas and pivot tables
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data governance activities and exposure to Collibra
- Experience with Reference Data Management tools (e.g., EDM or DRM)
- Knowledge of Financial or Asset Management domains
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Understanding of data architecture concepts including dimensional modeling and entity-relationship diagrams
