Lead Custodian

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties and set up schedules and work assignments for the 3rd shift team
• Fill in for absent or vacationing personnel in lead roles
• Assist in the training of custodial personnel
• Manage all equipment and materials, including making monthly supply orders
• Test new products and recommend changes to existing supplies
• Monitor the quality of work in assigned buildings and among staff
• Maintain awareness of all safety measures within assigned buildings
• Assist the Custodial Supervisor with personnel evaluations
• Review and total weekly time cards and issue job orders for repairs

Requirements

• Ability to carry up to 75 pounds and transport trash
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, pulling, pushing, lifting, squatting, climbing, and kneeling
• Ability to work the 3rd shift schedule (Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM)

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of lead or supervisory experience
• 4-5 years of custodial experience
