Lead Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day cost management activities across large-scale, complex high-tech construction projects.
• Interface with clients, stakeholders, and consultants throughout all project stages to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Perform quantity surveying, cost control, and change management activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular reporting on the commercial status, forecasting, and financial tracking of projects.
• Support the coordination of Cost Management and Project Controls services across complex developments.
• Identify opportunities to improve cost management processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on project strategy, risk management, and delivery approach.
• Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a cost management role within the construction industry.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale, complex construction projects such as manufacturing, infrastructure, or major developments.
• Strong knowledge of Quantity Surveying practices.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, written, and organizational communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree in a related discipline.
• RICS or equivalent professional accreditation.
• Previous experience working within a construction consultancy.
