About the role

Responsibilities

  • Implement, administer and maintain cost control systems and procedures to track project budgets, commitments, expenditures and forecasts
  • Assist in the preparation and review of cost estimates
  • Provide cost information to support decision making and alternative selection
  • Evaluate and analyze fee proposals and bids
  • Provide forecasts and cash flow analysis
  • Maintain and manage cost reports and provide regular updates on financial position
  • Assist in the development, validation and maintenance of the project schedule
  • Develop reporting tracking tools and generate cost reports including earned value evaluation
  • Build intricate spreadsheets for fast and accurate data manipulation of large datasets
  • Extract and transform data from several sources to fit operational needs
  • Reconcile data to ensure accuracy and create a clean audit trail

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Cost Control experience within construction
  • Recognized university degree in Construction Management or a related field
