Lead Corporate Counsel

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support on regulatory agreements, licensing requirements, and compliance obligations across various markets
• Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, partnership arrangements, and service contracts
• Support corporate governance matters, including board resolutions, entity management, and internal controls
• Assist business stakeholders in interpreting regulatory developments and implementing practical frameworks to meet obligations
• Coordinate with external counsel on jurisdiction-specific matters and regulatory queries
• Identify legal risks and propose balanced, business-aligned solutions
• Develop and maintain internal legal policies, templates, and knowledge resources

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer called to the bar in SG, MY, UK, or HK
• 3–6 years of experience in corporate, commercial, or regulatory legal work (in-house or private practice)
• Strong drafting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple matters concurrently in a dynamic environment
• Exposure to international regulatory requirements is advantageous
