About the role

Responsibilities

  • Produce meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner
  • Prepare hot side dishes according to the menu
  • Ensure food preparation meets quality standards and is properly documented
  • Monitor and record food temperatures
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and service areas
  • Manage food storage and rotation
  • Perform monthly inventory and food ordering
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols

Requirements

  • Diploma in hospitality, catering, or equivalent training
  • Minimum 5 years of culinary experience
  • MAPAQ certification (handler and/or manager)
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
  • Physical fitness for demanding tasks
  • Proficiency in French

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in remote workforce accommodation camps
  • Experience in natural resources or construction sectors in isolated environments
