About the role
Responsibilities
- Produce meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Prepare hot side dishes according to the menu
- Ensure food preparation meets quality standards and is properly documented
- Record food temperatures in the registry
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and service areas
- Manage food storage and rotation
- Perform monthly inventory and food ordering
- Ensure all tasks are performed safely
Requirements
- Diploma in hospitality, catering, or equivalent training/experience
- Minimum 5 years of culinary experience
- Bilingual in French and English
- MAPAQ certification (handler and/or manager)
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
- Physical fitness for demanding tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in remote workforce accommodation camps
- Previous experience in isolated environments within natural resources or construction sectors
