About the role

Responsibilities

  • Produce meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner
  • Prepare hot side dishes from the menu
  • Ensure all food preparation meets quality standards
  • Record food temperatures in the registry
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and service areas
  • Manage food storage and rotation
  • Perform monthly inventory and food ordering
  • Ensure all tasks are performed safely

Requirements

  • Diploma in hospitality, catering, or equivalent training
  • Minimum 5 years of culinary experience
  • Bilingual in French and English
  • MAPAQ certification (handler and/or manager)
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
  • Physical fitness for demanding tasks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in remote workforce accommodation camps
  • Previous experience in isolated environments within natural resources or construction sectors
