About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop industrial control systems for complex automated equipment
  • Create panel layouts, power distribution schemes, and detailed control wiring diagrams
  • Program PLCs and HMIs using Allen Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and FactoryTalk View Studio
  • Interface with RSLinx, Kepware, and MES systems for seamless data exchange
  • Program and maintain Fanuc robot logic
  • Configure and maintain Cognex and Keyence vision systems, area scanners, and light curtains
  • Collaborate with Mechanical, Manufacturing, and Quality engineers to implement error-proofing systems
  • Provide technical leadership to ensure OEM compliance with electrical and controls standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of manufacturing experience, OR
  • Master's degree and 1+ year of manufacturing experience, OR
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Proficiency with Allen Bradley ControlLogix and CompactLogix
  • Experience with FactoryTalk View Studio
  • Experience with Fanuc robot logic
  • Experience with vision systems (Cognex/Keyence)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience designing and installing medium and low voltage power distribution systems
  • Exposure to Ignition SCADA Software
  • Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
  • Experience with GRACO mixing systems or Automatic Guided Vehicles (AGVs)
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics
