Lead Consultant - SAP Basis

Responsibilities

• Lead innovative SAP operations, including platform architecture, sizing, and infrastructure requirements for large-scale systems.
• Drive the implementation of agentic AI and AIOps to create self-healing pipelines and zero-touch, resilient operations.
• Define the SAP platform roadmap and recommend best practices for digital enablement, migrations, and modernization.
• Design AI agents to auto-detect and remediate BASIS issues, such as enqueue server failures and HANA memory pressure.
• Develop cloud reference architectures for SAP on AWS, GCP, or Azure, utilizing infrastructure as code and immutable configurations.
• Partner with architects, application teams, and cloud specialists to streamline end-to-end SAP operations across ABAP and HANA.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of the SAP Basis workstream and hands-on leadership across SAP components (ECC, BW, Solution Manager, Fiori, etc.).
• Full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation and support experience.
• Proven experience with cloud migrations and implementations on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and configuration management (Ansible).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
• Practical experience using AI agents or machine learning for anomaly detection and runbook automation.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP certifications (Basis/HANA, S/4HANA) and hyperscaler certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Hands-on experience with observability stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenTelemetry.
• Advanced expertise in HANA performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Experience in regulated environments (e.g., GxP) and familiarity with validation approaches.
