Lead Construction Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage all facets of pre-construction, bidding, construction, and close-out for complex commercial or GMP facility projects
• Develop full project budgets including construction, furniture, fixtures, equipment (FFE), and consultant costs
• Integrate various contractor and stakeholder schedules into a single master project schedule
• Translate owner objectives and project requirements to developers, architects, and engineering teams
• Oversee commissioning activities, punch lists, final inspections, and the issuance of Certificates of Occupancy
• Provide weekly and monthly updates on project schedule, cost, and quality, including risk mitigation strategies
• Represent the company in interactions with local authorities and regulatory agencies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or Business
• 10 years of experience in project or construction management
• Proven experience managing commercial or GMP facility construction projects with values exceeding $30M
• Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, FDA, and local authority requirements
• Experience working on LEED certified projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote)
