Lead Commercial Banking Portfolio Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Lead the Commercial Banking Portfolio Management team by providing day-to-day work leadership and mentorship to junior members
• Review credit information for companies and industries and perform complex credit investigations
• Analyze real estate related documents, including appraisals and lease agreements
• Support the credit approval process and provide subject matter expertise to the functional area
• Perform quality checks on work performed by junior team members and provide constructive feedback
• Implement new or revised processes and procedures to improve team effectiveness
• Prepare internal reports, dashboards, and training programs to support management and onshore partners
• Utilize AI tools to summarize information, draft content, and analyze data while maintaining human oversight

Requirements

• B.Com or an equivalent degree, preferably an MBA
• 5–7 years of relevant work experience
• Proven experience in assessing the creditworthiness of borrowers using qualitative and quantitative factors
• Strong analytical thinking skills with high attention to detail and research capabilities
• Proficiency in using AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot) for routine tasks and data analysis
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage complex tasks requiring planning and interpretation

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience working across different time zones
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data from multiple sources into prescribed templates
