About the Company

Telenor Sovereign Cloud Norway AS is Norway's first fully Norwegian-owned and operated end-to-end cloud platform. Developed for enterprises with mission-critical systems and sensitive information, it provides high security, transparency, and scalable services under Norwegian jurisdiction to strengthen national digital sovereignty.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of end-to-end architecture and design of the cloud platform
• Lead implementation and testing of solutions from planning to launch, focusing on security, scalability, robustness, and automation
• Act as a strategic partner to the Head of Technology, supporting key technical decisions
• Serve as the primary technical contact for technology partners
• Ensure the selection and implementation of cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS)
• Own the product roadmap from a technical perspective
• Proactively manage technical risks and ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Solid expertise in modern cloud technology and private cloud infrastructure
• In-depth knowledge of and experience with hyperscaler technologies
• Strong understanding of security solutions for cloud infrastructure
• Experience with cloud operating models, including DevSecOps, GitOps, and CI/CD
• Proven ability to lead complex technical projects in line with security and regulatory requirements
• Experience with the Norwegian Security Act (Sikkerhetsloven)
• Proficiency in Norwegian and English (written and oral)
• Higher education in IT, technology, or a related field

• Experience working in highly regulated environments
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
