Lead Civil/Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead civil and structural construction activities for offshore projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Oversee site execution and coordinate with marine construction teams, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Review and interpret structural engineering drawings, calculations, and IFC documents.
• Coordinate with design consultants regarding offshore structures, marine foundations, and heavy civil works.
• Support construction sequencing, methodology development, and offshore logistics integration.
• Enforce HSE standards and ensure compliance with international quality and safety regulations.
• Lead and mentor a team of civil engineers, site engineers, and supervisors.
• Manage technical deviations, NCRs, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 13–15+ years of experience in civil/structural construction projects within the oil & gas industry.
• Minimum of 5+ years of direct experience in offshore construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of international engineering codes and standards.
• Proven ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and resolve field technical issues.
• Strong technical leadership and decision-making capabilities.
