Lead Civil & Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all civil and structural engineering activities from concept and FEED through to detailed engineering and project execution.
• Review, approve, and supervise engineering deliverables, including calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Ensure all activities comply with ADNOC standards, international codes (ACI, AISC, BS, Eurocodes, etc.), and project requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, piping, electrical, and project management departments.
• Participate in engineering reviews, HAZOP studies, constructability reviews, and design audits.
• Review and approve vendor documents and technical submissions related to civil and structural works.
• Identify engineering risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and support professional development within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• Mandatory ADNOC Approval as a Lead Civil & Structural Engineer.
• Minimum 16 years of progressive experience in Civil and Structural Engineering within the Oil & Gas, EPC, or Petrochemical sectors.
• Proven experience working on ADNOC projects within the UAE.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as STAAD Pro, SACS, ETABS, SAFE, or SAP2000.
• Extensive experience in the design of major Oil & Gas facilities, including onshore and offshore infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Professional Engineering registration or membership in recognized engineering institutions.
• Relevant certifications in structural analysis, project management, or engineering leadership.
