About the role

Responsibilities

  • Monitor case files to ensure compliance with federal, state, and program requirements
  • Review applicant files for completeness, accuracy, and eligibility determination
  • Provide guidance on program policies, procedures, and documentation requirements to case managers
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and assist with corrective actions
  • Track productivity metrics and ensure program timelines are met
  • Assist with training new staff and ongoing staff development
  • Serve as a liaison between management, case managers, and program stakeholders
  • Assist applicants with escalated concerns or complex cases
  • Maintain accurate notes and documentation within program databases
  • Participate in outreach events, team meetings, and program improvement initiatives
  • Travel regionally and statewide as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency)
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management/database systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of HUD/CDBG regulations and compliance requirements
  • Experience with CDBG disaster recovery programs
  • Strong attention to detail and file auditing experience
  • Ability to coach and mentor staff effectively
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
