Lead Category Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global commodity strategies in collaboration with engineering, quality, finance, and operations
• Lead contract and price negotiations to reduce total cost of ownership
• Conduct "should cost" studies and competitive analysis to drive yearly cost reductions
• Manage supplier performance through regular monitoring and QBRs
• Monitor commodity market trends to reflect supply and cost dynamics
• Identify and develop relationships with new and existing suppliers to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets
• Collaborate with NPI, Engineering, and Quality teams to manage procurement for new product introductions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
• 8+ years of procurement-related experience
• In-depth knowledge of Semiconductor or Mechanical Supply Chain
• Proven ability to achieve results in fast-moving, dynamic environments
• Strong troubleshooting and complex problem-solving skills
• Ability to influence and persuade senior and executive management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PPT, Excel, Word)
