About the role
Responsibilities
- Support clients with activities of daily living including cooking, bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with household chores such as cleaning and laundry
- Drive clients to appointments or shopping trips
- Provide companionship and engage in everyday activities
- Monitor and report on client conditions
- Fill in for critical shifts, new client intakes, and training new caregivers
Requirements
- Active WA State NAC/CNA or HCA license
- CPR certification
- One year of experience in home care, AFH, hospital, or nursing home settings
- GED or high school diploma
- Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Ability to pass required background checks
- Ability to comply with COVID-19 vaccine mandates for healthcare facilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Nurse Delegated certification
