Lead Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Support clients with activities of daily living including cleaning, laundry, and dishes
• Cook and serve meals
• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Transport clients for errands or appointments using a personal vehicle
• Assist with gait belt or Hoyer transfers
• Monitor and report on client conditions
• Cover critical shifts, including fill-ins, new clients, and training shifts for new caregivers

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• CNA or HCA certification in the state of WA (or ability to enroll in training program)
• Valid Washington State driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass state and national background checks
• One year of experience in home care, AFH, hospital, or nursing home settings
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to use a smartphone and the AxisCare app
• Comfortable with commute times exceeding one hour
