About the role
Responsibilities
- Support clients with activities of daily living including cleaning, laundry, and dishes
- Assist with cooking and serving meals
- Help clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship through daily activities and hobbies
- Drive clients to stores or appointments using a personal vehicle
- Monitor and report on client conditions
- Assist with critical shifts, including fill-ins, new clients, and training new caregivers
Requirements
- One year of experience in home care, AFH, hospital, or nursing home settings
- Ability to pass state and national background checks
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a clean driving record
- Personal vehicle available for client transport
- CPR certification
- Tech-savvy for app clock-in/out, email, and texting
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks like standing, walking, and bending
- Must be 18 years or older
