About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop one-on-one relationships with Jewish students through proactive engagement
- Collaborate with students to develop and deliver 9–12 annual programs
- Mentor student leaders, club presidents, and interns to grow leadership capacity
- Maintain a visible presence on the SFU campus and represent Hillel BC at events
- Create inclusive spaces and support students navigating identity and campus climate
- Maintain records of student engagement and program outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 0–2 years of professional work experience
- Passion for building Jewish community and culture
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows applications
- Valid Canadian driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in student engagement or nonprofit programming
- Ability to navigate complex campus climates with resilience
Benefits
- Salary range of $54,000–$57,000
