About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee and monitor call center operations when the Supervisor is unavailable
- Provide guidance to staff regarding appointment schedule changes and conflicts
- Serve as a liaison for patient situations, including handling upset or dissatisfied patients
- Oversee training for new hires
- Assist with reports and other administrative projects
- Greet, register, and schedule patients to ensure an exceptional experience
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum two years of customer support experience in a medical or clinical office setting
- Experience with EMR and scheduling systems such as Athena, Greenway, or Phreesia
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Ability to occasionally travel during the work week
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree
