About the Company

OLIX is building the next generation of AI infrastructure. The OLIX Decode Accelerator 1 (DX-1) is the first accelerator architected specifically for decode, utilizing rack-scale co-design of logic, data movement, packaging, optics, and interconnect to achieve a step change in system-level performance.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for CAD, EDA, and design environment support for digital and analog teams
  • Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot design, verification, implementation, analog, and signoff flows
  • Develop and maintain automation, scripting, and infrastructure solutions to improve productivity
  • Diagnose and resolve EDA tool, licensing, and workflow issues
  • Partner with digital design, verification, physical design, and analog teams to improve methodologies
  • Evaluate and deploy new EDA tool releases and best practices
  • Work with EDA vendors to drive issue resolution and influence tool capabilities
  • Collaborate with IT to maintain high-performance computing environments for EDA workloads
  • Monitor and optimize compute, storage, network, and licensing resources
  • Create documentation and training materials for design tools
  • Manage external CAD contractors and service providers
  • Lead internal and external resources to execute CAD roadmap initiatives

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in semiconductor CAD, EDA, or silicon infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of digital and/or analog IC design flows
  • Hands-on experience with Cadence, Synopsys, Siemens EDA (Mentor), or Ansys
  • Proficiency in Python, Tcl, Shell, or Perl
  • Experience with Linux/Unix and distributed compute environments
  • Knowledge of EDA license management and job scheduling systems
  • Experience managing external contractors or offshore resources
  • Strong project management and communication skills
