Lead - Business Finance

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, Procurement, and business leaders to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, variance analysis, and month-end close activities for Technology Infrastructure cost centres
• Analyse business and infrastructure performance, including cloud, hosting, networking, security, SaaS, and enterprise technology spend
• Develop financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses to evaluate technology investments and vendor contracts
• Monitor key financial and operational metrics including utilization, cost allocation, unit economics, ROI, and cloud consumption
• Support cloud financial management and FinOps initiatives by driving cost governance and efficiency improvements
• Collaborate with Procurement and Vendor Management teams on contract evaluations and software licensing reviews
• Prepare executive dashboards, management reports, and business review materials
• Drive reporting automation and process improvements to enhance forecasting accuracy
• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial reporting and governance processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science
• 3–6 years of experience in Business Finance, FP&A, Strategic Finance, or Consulting
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting
• Understanding of technology infrastructure concepts including Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), Data centers, SaaS, and Networking
• Experience with planning/reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
• Familiarity with SQL or data analytics tools
• Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights
