Lead Business Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Partner with product, business, and engineering stakeholders to solve high-impact problems
• Reformulate ambiguous business questions into analytical, statistical, or ML problems
• Own the full lifecycle from data discovery and analysis to deployment and impact measurement
• Design and analyze A/B tests and apply causal-inference techniques
• Build forecasts, segmentations, attribution, and uplift models
• Ship reliable, clean Python code with reproducible training and inference
• Explain probability, uncertainty, and trade-offs to non-technical audiences
• Mentor peers and junior colleagues through code reviews and tech talks

Requirements

• Degree in a quantitative or technical field (Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar)
• 5+ years in a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or Product Analyst role
• Deep understanding of probability and statistics fundamentals
• Strong applied ML knowledge and understanding of model mechanics
• Practical experience integrating LLMs or agents into business workflows
• Proficiency in clean Python code, advanced SQL, and CI/CD
• Ability to build and own end-to-end ML pipelines
• Strong stakeholder management and persuasive communication skills
• Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency
