Lead Business Analyst - Trade Finance

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support integrations using Solace MQ for event-driven architectures supporting banking transactions and real-time messaging.
• Build, test, and consume RESTful APIs for secure communication between internal banking systems and external partners.
• Utilize Postman for comprehensive API testing, automation, and documentation.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) to support financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshoot integration and middleware issues and monitor message queues to ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and compliance officers to ensure solutions meet business and regulatory requirements.
• Implement best practices around API security (e.g., OAuth, JWT), versioning, and data privacy.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, integration flow diagrams, and test cases.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience in Indian and International trade finance domains.
• Deep knowledge of LC, BG, Bills, Loans, EDPMS, IDPMS, and TRRACS.
• Proficiency in SQL, REST APIs, and Linux.
• Hands-on experience with MQ and Postman within a banking context.
• Professional proficiency in English (C2 level).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with banking platforms such as IMEX, Finacle, Temenos, or Flexcube.
• Familiarity with payment processing systems like SWIFT, RTGS, NEFT, or UPI.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with data analytics tools like Tableau, Power BI, or SAS.
• Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
