Lead Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive business analysis to identify, understand, and prioritize IT requirements in the product backlog
• Manage B2B solutions and oversee the activities of other Business Analysts within the product team
• Partner with clinical teams, product owners, and technology partners to translate complex business needs into scalable solutions
• Own the implementation and delivery of IT solutions and services for specific supplier capability areas
• Assess new suppliers against IT requirements and document potential gaps and risks
• Ensure all IT solutions comply with industry regulations and information security policies
• Support change management and end-user communication for large global user groups
• Maintain accurate documentation of systems, processes, and complex business requirements

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in Life Science, Biotechnology, or Information Systems
• Detailed understanding of clinical trial processes and systems such as EDC, CTMS, and eTMF
• Proven experience with B2B and integration technologies, including APIs, secure file transfers, and VPNs
• Practical experience working within Agile methodologies, specifically the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
• Strong ability to lead business analysis activities through interviews and workshops
• Experience overseeing and coordinating the work of other Business Analysts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with global stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Business Analysis certifications such as IIBA BABOK
• Certified SAFe® for Teams or similar Agile certifications
• Experience working with clinical trial suppliers such as CROs, Labs, or Imaging providers
• Proficiency in IT service delivery tools including Jira, Jira Align, and Confluence
• Experience working in highly regulated environments where compliance is essential
