Lead Bogie Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create and manage 3D digital models and technical models
• Develop technical descriptions and specifications for tender processes
• Manage configuration and consistency of digital models
• Plan and coordinate project team activities
• Contribute to product and process feasibility studies for bogie components and solutions
• Perform technical validation of solutions using analytical calculations, tolerance chains, and displacement matrices
• Ensure design compliance with industry standards and Alstom directives
• Optimize industrial process costs, including welding, machining, molding, and forging

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 10 years of proven experience in bogie design and 3D technical modeling
• Strong mastery of engineering principles and mechanical system design in heavy industrial environments
• Expertise in structural calculations and pre-dimensioning
• Knowledge of railway dynamics
• Experience with transmission and braking system architecture and pre-dimensioning
• Proficiency in both English and French (Bilingualism is required)
• Strong leadership, autonomy, and teamwork skills
